Who we are

We've been fixing the last guy's work in this county since 1986.

Brevard homes have their own quirks. Block-and-fur exterior walls in the older neighborhoods. Ceilings that move with the humidity. Hairline cracks that open over a doorway every summer. Roof leaks after a storm that show up as a brown ring three rooms away from the actual damage.

Forty years of working nothing but this county means we've already seen your situation. We know which builders framed straight and which didn't, we know how a wall is going to behave once the AC runs, and we know how to match a texture that was sprayed on before we were in business.

We're not a franchise and we don't subcontract your job out to whoever answered the phone. You get the same crew from the walkthrough to the final sanding.

Brevard only

Small jobs welcome
One patched ceiling is a real job to us. No minimum, and no upselling you into work you didn't ask about.
Written estimates

Dust control
Plastic, drop cloths, and taped-off doorways on every occupied-home job.

What we do

Drywall repair in Brevard County

Repair work, done properly: patching walls and ceilings, and matching the texture around the patch so it disappears. That is the whole list. We are a minor-repair operation, not a construction company.

01

Drywall repair & patching

Water and storm damage, settling cracks, popped screws, doorknob holes, and ceilings opened up by a plumber or an electrician. We cut back to solid board and patch it properly instead of buttering over the hole, then blend the surrounding texture so the repair disappears rather than announcing itself. Single rooms welcome — no minimum job size and no waiting on a crew coming from Orlando.

02

Ceiling patch repair

The brown ring after a roof leak. The square a plumber left behind the upstairs bathroom. The hairline crack that keeps coming back over the same doorway. We cut the bad section out, put solid board in, tape and coat it, and blend the texture into what is already up there so you stop seeing it. That includes patching a hole in a popcorn ceiling and retexturing the patch to match — we repair popcorn ceilings, we don't scrape them off.

Scope

What we don't take on

We keep to minor repair work — jobs under $2,500 in labor and materials, which covers the great majority of what homeowners call us about. Hanging drywall for a remodel or an addition, scraping a whole popcorn ceiling, and anything that needs a permit belong to a licensed contractor. If your job is one of those, we'll say so on the phone and you haven't lost an afternoon.

  • Repairs under $2,500
  • No permit work
  • No popcorn removal
  • Straight answer on the phone

Texture & matching

Knockdown, orange peel, splatter, and dead-flat smooth. The hard part was never spraying new texture — it's making a patch read the same as the forty-year-old wall around it. We match by hand and by spray, then check it in daylight and under the lamps that will actually be in the room, because that is where a bad match shows.

Our standards

The job isn't done until you can't find where we worked.

That is the whole standard, and it's a harder one to hit than it sounds. Four checks get us there, and we don't call a room finished until it passes all four.

We look at it in your light
Not under a work lamp on a tripod. We check every wall and ceiling in daylight and under the fixtures that will actually be in the room, because that is the only light that tells the truth about a seam.
You shouldn't feel the patch
Run your hand over a repair and you shouldn't find where the old board stops. Edges get feathered out wide instead of built up into a ridge that catches the light later.
Coats get their dry time
Even when that costs a day on the schedule. Mud that gets stacked wet shrinks, cracks, and telegraphs through the paint — which is exactly the work we get called in to fix.
Texture is matched by hand
Knockdown, orange peel, splatter — we mix and throw it to match what is already on your wall, then judge it from the doorway the way you will. The patch has to disappear into the pattern, not sit beside it.

How a job runs

No surprises, start to finish.

  1. Walkthrough & written estimate

We come look at it in person, talk through the texture and where it has to blend, and put the scope and price in writing. Free, and usually within a couple of days of your call.

  2. Protect and prep

Floors covered, doorways taped off, furniture moved or wrapped. On occupied homes we contain the dust before the first cut, not after.

  3. Cut back, board, and coat

Damage comes out to solid framing, new board goes in tight and screwed off correctly, then the coats go on with proper dry time between them. Rushing this is why patches telegraph later.

  4. Sand, match, and walk it with you

We sand, match the texture into the surface around it, vacuum and haul the debris off, then walk the job with you under the lights that will actually be in the room. Anything you flag, we fix.
